Join us for our 2019 Fun Palace! A FREE celebration of culture, using arts, science, craft, tech, digital, heritage and sports activities created by and for local people.
Fun Palaces is both an ongoing campaign for culture at the heart of every community – led by and for that community, and an annual weekend of action – arts, science, craft, tech, digital, heritage and sports events and activities – run by and for local communities. Fun Palaces weekend is the first weekend of October every year.

Central Library
Luton Central Library is located in St. George's Square between the Mall Shopping Centre and the Galaxy Centre.
Luton Central Library has the widest selection of novels, non-fiction books, newspapers and magazines. The books are available in different formats - large print, paperback or on CD. There is also a good selection of music and film CDs and DVDs. There are computers available for library members on the ground, first and second floors. Wi-fi is available on all floors.
The ground floor has the children's library, quick choice selection of books and quick use public computers.
On the first floor you will find the main enquiry point where staff will be able to help you find what you want. A fax service is available here.
The second floor is the quiet study area. The Family History room are on this floor. Please ensure your mobile phone is switched off or is on silent in this area.
The third floor has a multi-faith room and conference rooms.
