Children’s TV stars Callum Donnelly and JezO (from popular hit CBBC’s and CBeebies shows such as Justins House, SPOTBOTS and The Slammer) invite fun-seekers to come aboard as they set sail for Treasure Island!

This hilarious duo along with a few other supporting surprises are setting sail during the Easter school holidays 2019 so prepare yourself for a very funny, big, bright and breezy swashbuckling time on the high seas!

Go on an amazing and memorable trip into a world of pirates, treasure and mermaids - as one of the nation’s favourite children’s novels is brought to life with a lively (and very child friendly) modern twist.

See our intrepid trio bring to life Jim Hawkins, Old Ben Gunn, Billy Bones, Sneaky Beaky the pirates parrot, mythical creatures and of course Long John Silver - with action and adventure aplenty on the horizon.

This laugh a minute show is jam-packed with shanty’s, cheering, booing, puppets, lots of colourful costumes, slapstick comedy and maybe even a monkey and a mermaid or two!

Ideal for all the family! The only question is… ‘Aaaargh you ready?!?’

Luton Library Theatre

Luton Library Theatre opened in 1962 as a lecture theatre before gradually changing to a traditional entertainment venue with 256 seats and two side aisles.

The Theatre began to build up a programme of amateur and professional drama, film, music of all types and children's events. In fact a pretty long list of events that covers almost every taste!

All of this continued through the sixties, seventies and eighties. During the nineties the seating was changed to a more modern style and colour with a centre isle with a slight rake. This meant the amount of seating had to be reduced to the current capacity of 238.

In the late nineties and early noughties, there were more changes both fabric and technical makeup of the Theatre. This brings us up to 2009, when the Library itself closed for a major refurbishment. Some improvements were made to the front of house and bar areas of the theatre, plus the introduction of a new cafe.
