Join us for our annual free performance of the nation's much loved Christmas carols at Wardown House, Museum and Gallery, in the beautiful setting of The Drawing Room. Throughout the festive season, we are pleased to bring you local choral groups to spread the Christmas cheer! They’ll be in full voice and singing your favourite carols.

**Please Note** Carols at Wardown are free events but we welcome donations to help support the museum and our work. Tickets, whilst free are required. We have limited capacity and we cannot guarantee seats without a ticket. We recommend pre-booking as these events have proved to be very popular!

About Peculi8 pe-cu-li-8 [pi-kyool-li-8]
Definition: Strange, odd, uncommon, unusual singers, who like to sing in 8-part harmony, who are particularly distinctive in nature or character from others

Take a group of friends that all love singing, who are all slightly peculiar, and what do you get? Peculi8: an a cappella vocal group who sing in 8-part harmony. Formed in 2005, Peculi8 perform a wide variety of music, from Mozart to Billy Joel, in order to raise money for different charities. In three words: singing, friends and cake!

Wardown House

Wardown House, Museum and Gallery is situated in the beautiful landscaped Wardown Park, on the outskirts of Luton town centre. The house was formerly the home of the Scargill family, then a military hospital and is now a museum and gallery.

Step back in time and glimpse an insight into a wealthy family home during the Victorian period. Explore the different rooms with hands-on displays for a fully immersive experience. The museum tells the story of Luton’s transformation into the exciting and diverse town it is today.

The museum also houses a range of displays throughout the building, including the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment Gallery and the popular Luton Life Gallery.

The museum underwent a redevelopment during 2016, reopening in April 2017. Wardown House, Museum and Gallery also holds events and activities for all ages and interests throughout the year.
