Gabriella Dall’Olio - Harp

Born in her beloved Bologna, Italy, Gabriella has inspired audiences throughout Europe and the Middle East with solo recitals and chamber music concerts for the past three decades. Gabriella has earned recognition and won prizes in numerous competitions, and has been supported by the Swiss fund Junge Kunstler. She has recorded for international radio and television corporations, including BBC, Radio France, RAI, Bayerischer Rundfunk and Radio Suisse. She has appeared regularly with Hebrides, Red Note, Uroboros, Gruppo Musica Insieme di Cremona, Wiener Virtuosen and with the German ensemble Kontraste, playing premieres and works by twentieth-century and contemporary composers.

Her recordings have received critical acclaim and include solo CDs with Claves and Emi concertos with Claves (Turina), Naxos and many others. In her concert, Gabriella engages her audiences on a spiritual journey through music; she often chooses programs in line with social and political contemporary events to awake the awareness that culture and music unites us all, that art has no boundaries nor party, and at some point in history each of us was a migrant.

Clare Hoffman – Violin and Viola

Clare joined Sandor Vegh's Camerata Academica in Salzburg directly after graduating from the Guildhall School in London with Distinction. She was deeply inspired by Sandor Vegh after playing for him at Prussia Cove and wanted to play Mozart and Bartok under his direction.

Clare played a Purcell Room sonata recital sponsored by the ECO. Whilst a member of the ECO Ensemble she gave several concerts in the Wigmore Hall and took part in an invitation only concert for the King of Spain. She has performed the late Beethoven Quartets at St Johns, Holland Park. Clare also led a private quartet concert recital at Buckingham Palace.

She has toured China, USA, Holland, Scandinavia and Germany with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. She has also toured extensively with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia, BBC Symphony orchestra and others.

Clare played concerts in Chicago, New York and Barcelona with the Orchestra Revolutionnaire Romantique in 2020 directly before the Covid pandemic. She gives sonata recitals and playing regularly for older people in Barnet Care centres is particularly important to her. During lockdown she gave a YouTube recital to support Help the Aged with her husband Chris Bevan.

Gabriella and Clare started playing together during lockdown and began exploring the wonderful repertoire for violin, viola, and harp.

Running Time: 2 hours, including a 30 minute interval
