Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her Platinum Jubilee this year to mark 70 years on the throne. To mark the occasion, a special 4 day bank holiday is taking place between Thursday 2 and Sunday 5 June 2022.

To accommodate this, the late Spring Bank Holiday has moved from Monday to this weekend. Activities are planned across the weekend, including the Platinum Jubilee Beacon Ceremony.

A number of fun activities will be taking place throughout town on Thursday 2 June, including live music and DJs outside the town hall, art workshops and other activities across the town - keep checking back for updates.
