Come along to AGO's first Pokemon Prerelease event! Prerelease is a great introduction for any kids who like Pokemon but have never tried playing the game itself.

The event is ticketed, so it would make a great Christmas present for Poke-fans out there, and you gets lots of packs and cards included.

The sessions and Tournaments are run by qualified Pokemon 'Professors' who've had all the relevent backgrounds checks done.

As it's our first event the entry cost will only be £23 (£20 for AGO Members)!

What to expect:

When you sit down to play at a Prerelease tournament, you'll receive a Build & Battle Box containing a 23-card Evolution pack, which includes an exclusive foil promo card and is designed to give you a strong foundation for building a new deck. Each box also includes four 10-card booster packs from Sword & Shield. You'll use these cards, plus basic Energy provided by the Tournament Organiser, to construct your own 40-card deck. You'll get to keep all the cards from your Build & Battle Box, whether you use them in your deck or not.

All competitors will receive 3 additional booster packs from the new set after the Tournament as participation prizes, and the winner of the Tournament will also receive a selection of Pokemon League Promos (this is not a competitive Tournament and players are encouraged to have fun playing with the new cards).

Please note that no outside food or drink can be consumed on the premises; our cafe has a wide range of snacks and drinks available to purchase!
