About Creative Cafés

Revoluton Arts’ Creative Cafés are friendly events where local creatives can get together, share ideas and make new connections. They are usually themed around a certain topic with expert guest speakers followed by a chance to socialise with like-minded creatives.


About your speakers


Terry Lee

Terry is a member of the University of Bedfordshire's radio teaching team. He is also the member of staff responsible for the award-winning Radio LaB 97.1FM, the University’s community radio station.

In 2018, he launched a podcast series called 'Fantastic Noise'. The podcast is primarily aimed at students studying radio, and features the voices of radio professionals and experts.

Terry has been a Director of the Community Media Association, the national representative body for Community Media, since 2013.


Shemiza Rashid

Shemiza Rashid is an award-winning community radio presenter and producer with eight years in community radio. She presents the flagship show The Urban Kube on Inspire FM and can also be heard on Radio LaB presenting Luton Live. Shemiza is a regular voice on BBC Three Counties Radio as a contributor on the parenting show, the Sunday papers review, on the faith show and cover presenter on The Asian show.
