The BRICK People
Love LEGO®?
We’re delighted to be welcoming The Brick People to Wardown House, Museum and Gallery, who’ll be offering a wide range of LEGO® related activities.
Events consist of various LEGO® activity tables, some containing self-building activities including mosaic building and random brick building, along with tables featuring monitored activities such as a timed tower build and small model builds, where names of the challengers are written on a leaderboard for the day for all to see. There are also a selection of amazing official and unofficial LEGO® creations by The BRICK People and the wider LEGO® hobbyist community.
Come along to enjoy a series of free-flow workshops including:
- SPEED BUILD - Think you’ve got good skills? Try the speed build challenge.
- RACEWAY - Build a vehicle to race down our track made with LEGO® and make it to the bottom!
- MOSAICS - Create a mosaic using LEGO® DOTS and add your design to the mosaic display
- TIMED TOWER - How tall can you make a tower with LEGO® in just 1 minute?
- YOUNG BUILDERS - LEGO® DUPLO® bricks to keep the youngest builders occupied!
- EXHIBITOR DISPLAYS - The BRICK People are connected to a large network of LEGO® enthusiasts from all over the country and some of their most wonderful creations will be on display today.
‘Having The BRICK People at Cranleigh Arts centre was an absolute pleasure, The atmosphere in the building was magic with happy faces young and old. We cannot wait until they return’ Sophie Woods, Director, Cranleigh Arts

Wardown House
Wardown House, Museum and Gallery is situated in the beautiful landscaped Wardown Park, on the outskirts of Luton town centre. The house was formerly the home of the Scargill family, then a military hospital and is now a museum and gallery.
Step back in time and glimpse an insight into a wealthy family home during the Victorian period. Explore the different rooms with hands-on displays for a fully immersive experience. The museum tells the story of Luton’s transformation into the exciting and diverse town it is today.
The museum also houses a range of displays throughout the building, including the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment Gallery and the popular Luton Life Gallery.
The museum underwent a redevelopment during 2016, reopening in April 2017. Wardown House, Museum and Gallery also holds events and activities for all ages and interests throughout the year.
Venue Hire
Wardown House has a range of rooms that can be hired for your meetings, training days, drinks receptions and events in the gorgeous surroundings of Wardown Park. See Venue Hire for more information.
