Join Full House Theatre back at Luton Library Theatre this Christmas with joyful family show The Elves and the Shoemaker.
In this topsy-turvy re-telling we meet Geoff, a lovable retired shoemaker who is struggling to remember the past. One day at the bottom of his garden he is visited by two enchanting friends who help him to recall the old days of his shoe shop, reliving the good, the bad and the magical! With the help of the Elves, Geoff realises that a little bit of elf magic is all he needs to give his wife the only thing she’s ever wanted, just in time for a very special birthday.
With original toe-tapping music, laugh-out-loud characters, puppetry and real magic, The Elves and the Shoemaker is a festive story sure to make the whole family feel all warm and cosy inside.

Luton Library Theatre
Luton Library Theatre opened in 1962 as a lecture theatre before gradually changing to a traditional entertainment venue with 256 seats and two side aisles.
The Theatre began to build up a programme of amateur and professional drama, film, music of all types and children's events. In fact a pretty long list of events that covers almost every taste!
All of this continued through the sixties, seventies and eighties. During the nineties the seating was changed to a more modern style and colour with a centre isle with a slight rake. This meant the amount of seating had to be reduced to the current capacity of 238.
In the late nineties and early noughties, there were more changes both fabric and technical makeup of the Theatre. This brings us up to 2009, when the Library itself closed for a major refurbishment. Some improvements were made to the front of house and bar areas of the theatre, plus the introduction of a new cafe.
